SightSnap is a collectible card app built around real-world points of interest. You visit places in the real world - as soon as you are nearby, the corresponding digital card unlocks and you can collect it. The more you collect, the more benefits you can unlock.
On the map you see points of interest around you. As soon as you are within about 500 metres of a point of interest, the corresponding card is unlocked and you can add it to your gallery with one tap - no QR codes, no camera.
With collected cards and completed challenges you unlock benefits at our partners - e. g. discounts, exclusive content or small goodies. You can see which benefits are currently available directly in the app.
The Snap Plan is your personal tour companion. Instead of searching for individual places, you follow a curated route through a city or region - collecting cards along the way in the right order. Perfect for city breaks and weekends.
SightSnap is planned as a free app. We will announce details about possible premium features before launch.
At launch the app will be available for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). Requirements are a smartphone with GPS and an active internet connection.
We are working at full speed on the launch. As soon as a concrete date is fixed, we will announce it here and on the App Store pages.
We take privacy seriously. Your live location is used exclusively to show you cards nearby, not for profiling. When you collect a card, we store the place and time with your collection - so that you can later see where you have been. You can find more details in our Privacy Policy.
